Who is responsible

THE LOOK COMPANY, trading as Studio Saint-Pierre, is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. Registered office: 160 Rue des Champs Plans, 74800 Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny, France. For anything in this policy, write to legal@studiosaintpierre.com.

What we collect

Forms on this site collect personal data. Today there is one, on the contact page, and it asks for your first name, last name, email address, company, the nature of the partnership, a description of your project, a budget range and a timeline.

We collect nothing else unless you accept analytics. If you do, Google Analytics records the pages you view, your device type and an approximate location, so we can see how the site is used. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Google processes this data for us and may transfer it to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We keep it for 14 months. See Cookies at /legal/cookies/.

If you write to us by email instead, we hold what your message contains.

Why we hold it and on what basis

We use what you send to answer your enquiry, to prepare a proposal, and to keep a record of the exchange. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you chose to send us, under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Where an exchange leads to a contract, the basis for what we then hold is the performance of that contract, under Article 6(1)(b).

We do not use what you send for advertising, we do not profile you, and we do not sell or rent your data.

Who else sees it

The form is delivered by Formspree, Inc., a service established in the United States, which receives your submission and forwards it to us. Formspree acts as our processor.

This means your data is transferred to the United States. We rely on the data processing agreement and the transfer safeguards offered by Formspree, Inc. under Chapter V of the GDPR.

This site is hosted by Vercel Inc., in the United States, which processes server logs in the ordinary course of serving pages.

Beyond those two, we share your data with nobody, except where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a project are kept for three years from our last exchange with you, then deleted. Where a project goes ahead, records are kept for the duration of the contract and for the statutory periods that apply after it, which in France is generally ten years for accounting records.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your data, correction of it, erasure of it, restriction of its use, and portability of it, and you can object to our use of it. Write to legal@studiosaintpierre.com. We answer within one month.

If you are not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés, 3 Place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France, cnil.fr.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and enquiries reach a mailbox controlled by the studio. In your browser, the site keeps only your cookie choice, plus the two Google Analytics cookies if you accept them.

Changes

We update this policy when what we do changes. The date below is the version in force.
